Bleach is getting a smartphone MMORPG in China called Bleach: Awakened Souls: Shinigami, which will officially begin service on November 15, 2018 on the App Store and November 22, 2018 on Android. The game is being developed by Chinese developer Kunlun. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The game lets players take control Ichigo and other characters, and many other people from the manga and anime will show up as well. The game is played like a 3D hack-and-slash, with skills easily activated with a touch of a button. Players can slash through many enemies with ease and follow the main quests to recreate scenes from the anime. Players can also team up with other players to take on quests.
While the idea is similar to that of Bleach: Brave Souls, this game uses character model proportions more similar to the original designs in battle and uses 3D models during conversation scenes.
