Square Enix has debuted live gameplay of Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition at TGS 2018.
Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy!
While introducing the game, Square Enix reiterated that the game will let Chocobo change jobs for different stats and dungeon designs. This game also has a Buddy system which lets Chocobo befriend monsters, and other characters in the story as well, including some nostalgic characters from the Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon series.
Another feature is that Every Buddy! will allow for co-op gameplay via a second controller or Joy-Con sharing. This means that with the Nintendo Switch version, you can play with a real-life buddy anytime, anywhere.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition
Square Enix character designer Toshiyuki Itahana showed off the updated artwork for Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition. The new art reflects better the sense of hope the main characters bring, and this is also represented with the blue sky in the middle of the art.
Producer Ryoma Araki explained what was new with the remaster. This included updated graphics, such as shown off with the letters now clearly visible on the sign, voice acting, online multiplayer, and new areas in previous dungeons.
There is a new element to the game called the Pile Meter, which shows a clock that shows the timing of when to release the magic spell together. This feature was added to make online play less frustrating.
