When Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition gets its worldwide release, it will mark the first time the extra content from the PlayStation 3 version appears in English. This means new voiced segments. However, early English footage from the 2018 Tokyo Game Show has a different voice actor voicing Yuri Lowell in a scene with Patty Fleur, rather than Troy Baker. Baker responded to the segment on Twitter, noting his disappointment and saying Bandai Namco did not approach him about reprising the role.
….wow. Yeah, had no idea about this. Was never approached to do any additional lines/scenes. Pretty gutted, to be honest. Love this character so much, would’ve jumped at the chance to step into those boots again. https://t.co/nwDqJGAoWH
