Langrisser I & II Remake Launches February 7, 2019 With New Scenario, New Heroine, And More

Kadokawa Games held a formal announcement event for Langrisser I & II remake, where its release date for Japan was revealed along with a look at what else is new including multiple endings and more.

Q: What is Langrisser I & II?

A: A remake of Langrisser I & II. It features a modernized update to its graphics and new voicing.

The platforms are PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and its UI is also being revamped to make it easier to play on the consoles.

In addition to a brand-new scenario, there’s a brand-new heroine, as well as multiple endings that come from different story routes.

The new heroine is named Betty (CV: Hisako Tojo). She’s a female knight from a prestigious family, and is the younger sister of a certain heroine.

Composer Noriyuki Iwadare who worked on music for the Langrisser series also made an appearance. The BGM of the Langrisser I & II remake will use the original music, and he’s working on arrangements that mix its nostalgia with a modern touch.
