The Nintendo Switch release date for Dark Souls Remastered has been announced. Bandai Namco took to Twitter to say the game will appear on the system on October 19, 2018 in North America and Europe. This will also be the day people can pick up a Solaire of Astora amiibo. (As a reminder, the amiibo allows you to unlock and perform a “Praise the Sun” gesture immediately, though said gesture can also be earned in the game.)

In addition to the release date, Bandai Namco confirmed that a Dark Souls Remastered Network Test is planned for the Nintendo Switch. However, a release date is not yet available for it.

Dark Souls Remastered is immediately available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Originally, Dark Souls appeared on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
