RPG Maker MV For Consoles Will Only Have Game Data Sharing Between Switch And Xbox One

It’s been revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine that the RPG Maker MV for consoles, titled RPG Maker MV Trinity in Japan, will release on November 15 for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch with data-sharing between Switch and Xbox. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

 

The game’s price is listed as 7,800 yen and the Xbox One version will be a digital exclusive. Games made by players can be uploaded to a closed online service, Maker Plaza, where players from all around the world will get to try out.

 

The “RPG Maker MV Player” will release for free on all platforms that allows players to check out games. However, game data sharing on the Maker Plaza will only be available between Nintendo Switch and Xbox versions.

 

RPG Maker MV is currently available on PC. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions release in Japan on November 15, 2018 and in 2019 in the West.
