The game is adding another MH Frontier-original weapon type, called Magnet Spike. While not much has been revealed for the new weapon, the keywords revealed are ‘Super heavy close-range weapon’ and ‘magnetism’.

It was also announced that a collaboration with Phantasy Star Online 2 will be coming soon, with more details to be revealed later.

More details on Monster Hunter Frontier ZZ will be revealed on August 24, 2018. A teaser site has been opened for the update, which you can find here. Monster Hunter Frontier Z is playable on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation Vita, and PC, though the Xbox 360 and Wii U will not be receiving this update, as they will no longer be supported past August 1, 2018.
