Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro has released a teasing image on Instagram. Currently, The Good Life, the White Owls Inc. game on Kickstarter, is only planned to come to the PlayStation 4 and PC. However, this new image shows a build running on the Nintendo Switch.
Swery’s Instagram caption for the photo showing The Good Life on a Nintendo Switch does not confirm or deny anything. It simply describes the image as the result of an experiment. The full description reads:
“Experimenting with the Switch. We love the Nintendo Switch. And while we cannot commit to making a Switch version for now, our main programmer couldn’t stop himself from doing a few experiments with our current build and the console. They have been surprisingly successful so far, much to the whole team’s enjoyment… It gives us extra motivation and more drive than ever, and the will to make the campaign successful. I hope it excites you too!”
The Good Life is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. As of 10:30am CT on April 27, 2018, over 6,800 backers have pledged over $383,000. It needs to reach $622,840 (give or take, depending on current exchange rates) by May 4, 2018 to be funded. If funded, it will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC.
