Sega announced at Sega Fes 2018 that Valkyria Chronicles 4’s Nintendo Switch version has been delayed to Fall 2018 from the original Summer 2018 announced release date. It will now release alongside Valkyria Chronicles for Nintendo Switch, a port of the first game. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
New footage of the game on Nintendo Switch was also shown off. According to the developers, the game couldn’t run at all at first, but thanks to their talented programmers, the game made it to a playable state on Nintendo Switch. However, the Switch version still needs to be debugged, and as they need to go through it mission by mission, they realized that a Summer 2018 release date might be a bit hard to achieve, which is why the Switch version was delayed.
Here’s the footage of the game on Nintendo Switch [Thanks, Nintendo Everything!]:
