During the commemorative special concert, they had a special talk session where Omega Force brand leader Kenichi Ogasawara, producer of the Japanese-style hunting action series Toukiden, said that the team wants to develop the series’ latest title with Toukiden 3.

“We haven’t announced a new packaged title since Toukiden 2, but we here at Omega Force are advancing on a different project,” said Ogasawara at the concert. “When we’re done with that, I’d like to work on a new one [Toukiden] so please wait a little longer!”

It might be a while until we learn more about the new Toukiden, but it is currently in the lineup of plans. As for the aforementioned other project, Ogasawara said “It’ll be a surprising title, but this one will take a while too.”

Toukiden 2 first released in Japan on July 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. It released in the West in March 2017 for PS4, PS Vita, and PC.
