Last year we saw titles such as Evangelion VR: The Soul’s Seat at Namco’s VR Zone in Shinjuku, and the company is opening another VR space in Japan that will feature a new VR Mario Kart game and more.
The new “VR Zone Portal” will open at the Aeon Mall Zama Shop located in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, starting March 16. The VR Zone Portal is a smaller version of the VR Zone Shinjuku, but it’ll come with several VR attractions.
Here’s a look at some of the VR games it’ll offer:
Mario KArt Arcade Grand Prix VR
Escape from Hospital Ward Omega
Ski Rodeo
The VR Zone Portal is free to enter, but each VR title play will go for 1,000 yen.
In addition to the VR games, the VR Zone Portal has numerous arcade games, crane games, rhythm games, sticker machines that are popular with couples and high school girls, and plenty more games to check out.
Hours of operation are from 10:00am to 9:00pm JST, and will begin on March 16, 2018.
