Nippon Ichi Software recently announced The Liar Princess and Blind Prince, a game that will have you play as a monster pretending to be a princess who guides a blind prince.
Every year Nippon Ichi holds a special in-house event where all employees come up with video game ideas and the best one is guaranteed to become a game. Titles such as htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary and Yomawari: Night Alone started out the same way.
The idea behind The Liar Princess and Blind Prince came from a female web designer at NIS. The game was announced during the Nippon Ichi Software live stream where several new titles were revealed, but at the time its platform(s) still remained unknown.
In a preview image for this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, it shows on the bottom-left part of the preview that it is in development for PS4, PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch. Now that we know the platforms, we’ll likely get a release window in the near future.
You can check out our previous report for its first images and some in-development footage.
