Resident Evil 7 Reaches 4.8 Million, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Is Now A Million-Seller

Capcom shared its 3rd Quarter Report of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018, where it revealed the latest sales figures for Resident Evil 7 biohazard and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Under the Digital Contents section, Capcom shared the Q3 highlights with the release of Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition that helped boost the sales of Resident Evil 7 to 4.8 million units.

 

The above chart shows the unit sales of Resident Evil 7 biohazard (catalog) and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, which has surpassed the 1 million milestone.

 

The above chart shows us a comparison of unit sales for the 9 months going back to 2015 with retail sales across Japan, North America, Europe, and Asia as well as full-game downloads.

 

As for mobile contents in Q3, Monster Hunter Explore contributed with stable revenue and profit. Capcom also launched Puzzle Fighter for iOS and Android during this period.

 

As for PC games, Capcom notes that Monster Hunter Frontier Z has been performing steadily. Dragon’s Dogma Online also saw the launch of its 3.1 update in December.

 

Resident Evil 7 biohazard and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite are available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
