Capcom announced that the Horizon Zero Dawn special collaboration will be available on Monster Hunter: World on January 26, the day the game launches, and it’ll be available for a limited time.

The special collaboration’s part 1 event quest is called “Wild Teachings” and it’s a 5-star quest. It’ll require you to be of HR6 or higher to participate in an arena field with the objective of taking out 8 Barnos, a Wingdrake monster.

By completing the event quest you can obtain materials needed to create the Palico weapon “Machine Beast Neko Grinder” and a set of armor called the “Machine Beast Neko Series.” Keep in mind that the names come from the Japanese press info, so we’ll get different localized names.

As for Part 2 of the special event, it’ll come with materials to craft the “Aloy’s Bow” weapon as well as the “Aloy Series” armor so your Hunter can take on the  appearance of the Horizon Zero Dawn heroine. Part 2 will arrive later. You can check out more on the Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration in our previous report.

Monster Hunter: World releases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26, 2018. It releases on PC this fall.
