Xenogears 20th Anniversary Concert Set For April 7-8 In Japan

Xenogears is celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, and Square Enix announced the Xenogears 20th Anniversary Concert –The Beginning and the End- that will take place in Japan this April.

 

The concert’s production is led by composer Yasunori Mitsuda and performed by the Ahnenerbe Orchestra –Xenogears Concert Special Band & Orchestra-, with special guests Joanne Hogg and ANÚNA.

 

You can score tickets through Square Enix e-Store’s early-purchase lottery for a chance to get tickets from now through December 17 at 11:59pm JST. The first wave of winners will be selected on December 19 followed by a second wave starting December 26.

 

Standard tickets go for 8,800 yen and the Solaris Seat tickets go for 12,800 with a music box included. Those of you interested in trying your luck can do so here. On April 7 there are two performances with one starting at 2:00pm JST and the other at 6:30pm JST. On April 8 we’ll see another set of performances with the first at 12:30pm JST and the second at 5:00pm JST.

 

Xenogears first launched in Japan in February 11, 1998 for PlayStation. The game released in North America on October 20, 1998.
