A new Mega Man game was announced during the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Celebration live stream. Mega Man 11 will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC in late 2018. More information will be released regarding the game in Summer 2018.

One of the locations shown in the Mega Man 11 video appeared to be some sort of pyramid. It also features a Mega Man power using the Yuji Ishihara design that appeared in the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2’s museum section for Mega Man 8. Ishihara is confirmed to be the character designer for Mega Man 11, and we actually see this ability in action in the first footage. Ishihara says that he feels it would be more satisfying if more than Mega Man’s color changed when he used a different power. The art for the Robot Master that supplies this power has also been revealed.
