It was announced today that Sony is making an entire line of audio products in cooperation with Capcom for the upcoming release of Monster Hunter: World. [Thanks, 4gamer]
The products will all have the insignia of the Research Commission that the player hunter will be part of in-game, and the product boxes will be modeled after the familiar boxes that are often used by hunters.
The Walkman (pictured above) is of the Walkman A Series and comes in five colors. It will come pre-installed with five Hi-Res quality tracks from Monster Hunter: World’s OST.
The headphones use the h.ear on2 Wireless NC (WH-H900N) model and also come in five colors. The box is based on the supply box at base camps.
The speaker uses the portable h.ear go (SRS-HG1) model, and comes only comes in the color shown above.
Monster Hunter: World will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with the PS4 and Xbox One versions releasing first on January 26, 2018. There is a PS Plus closed beta that will start on December 9, 2017.
