Koei Tecmo announced that Attack on Titan 2 will release in North America, Europe, and Japan in March 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Here’s a look at some of its new screenshots
In addition to the new worldwide release window of March 2018, Koei Tecmo confirmed two new playable characters with Ymir and Christa Lenz. They’ll be joining Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlet, Levi, Miche Zacharias, Nanaba, and Gelgar as the currently known playable characters.
Compared to the previous Attack on Titan game, Attack on Titan 2 will feature enhanced Titan movements and attacks that will require more precise movements from the players to take on. A new Monocular system will also help with scouting to see Titans from afar so players can prepare and strategize better ahead of time.
Players will also get to deepen their relationships with fellow comrades by training and preparing for battle in the new and improved Town Life gameplay. Strengthening relationships is an important part of the game, and it’ll provide players with greater insight into the series’ cast.
A special “World Premiere Live Gameplay” broadcast will also be held shortly at 8:00pm JST today (in about 30 minutes of this article) where Koei Tecmo will share a closer look at some gameplay action. The broadcast will be available for viewing at YouTube, NicoNico live, and Fresh!
