During a Pipeworks Studio Terraria Console Gameplay Showcase, a new release window was offered for future content. 1.3 has been expected to appear on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2017. After a delay to Q3 2017 in May 2017, the update now has a Q4 2017 release window. (The Nintendo Switch version is expected to launch at 1.3.)

The 1.3 update came to the PC version of Terraria in June 2015. This adjusted existing elements, brought in new events like Martian Madness and Slime Rain, new furniture and potions, and an Expert mode. Due to various restrictions, the 1.3 update will not be coming to the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox 360.

You can see the Terraria 1.3 Console Gameplay Showcase, which looks at some of the new and endgame items, in Pipeworks Studio’s latest video.

Terraria is available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Android and Apple iOS devices. It is expected to come to the Nintendo Switch in 2017.
