Marvelous recently announced Story of Seasons: The Tale of Two Towns+, an updated 3DS version of the 2010 Nintendo DS title, Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns. Here’s a first look with a new trailer.

As previously detailed, Story of Seasons: The Tale of Two Towns+ starts out by asking players to choose their preference types such as “I like animals” or “I like fishing.” The game features two towns, with the first being Bluebell that is known for having many animals you’ll take care of. By doing so, you’ll get items such as milk, eggs, cheese, and other food items. You can also shear wool from sheep or alpacas to make items as well. The second one is Konohana Town, which is mostly characterized b y its crops, where everyone grows some sort of vegetable or fruit tree. This town is rich in nature and makes its livelihood out of growing vegetables such as radish, cabbage, and lettuce.

Improvement on the game’s controls is a focus from Marvelous this time around, and they say it plays much smoother than before. The game also supports StreetPass to share items with other players.
