New Okami Remaster With HD And 4K Support Releases In Japan On December 21 [Update]

Capcom revealed that Okami HD is getting a new release in Japan with HD and 4K support on December 21 for 2,990 yen plus tax.  [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

Update: The game will release in Japan for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It’ll get a physical release only on PlayStation 4, and the PC version will arrive earlier on December 13, 2017. The loading mini-game will also make a return.

While there isn’t any information on the platforms for the time being, the new Okami HD version, titled Okami: Zekkei in Japan, will have HD and 4K support as well as a reproduction of elements from the original Okami. There will also be a limited edition version for 4,990 yen.

There’s been reports of Okami HD ratings from South Korea, which showed the game listed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but we’ll hear more from Capcom on which platforms we can expect to see from the Japanese release soon.
