The Super NES Classic Edition was revealed for North America and Europe and Nintendo announced that Nintendo Classic Mini Super Famicom for Japan, and it has some exclusive titles.

  • Final Fantasy VI
  • Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem*
  • F-ZERO
  • Kirby Super Star
  • The Legend of the Mystical Ninja*
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
  • Mega Man X
  • Secret of Mana
  • Star Fox
  • Star Fox 2
  • Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts
  • Super Mario Kart
  • Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
  • Super Mario World
  • Super Metroid
  • Super Soccer*
  • Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers
  • Panel de Pon (Tetris Attack)*
  • Yoshi’s Island

There are four titles that are exclusive to Japan’s mini-console, but they’re still getting 21 games just like the West. The titles missing in Japan’s are EartBound, Kirby’s Dream Course, Super Castlevania IV, and Super Punch-Out!!

The Nintendo Classic Mini Super Famicom will release in Japan on October 5, 2017 and will be available for 7,980 yen plus tax. That’s about a week after the release of the Super NES Classic Edition which releases in North America and Europe on September 29.
