Nintendo and Koei Tecmo recently revealed the original twin protagonists for their upcoming Switch and New 3DS action game, Fire Emblem Warriors. Here’s more on the twins, along with Chrom and Marth from the game’s Japanese official website.

First, here’s a bit about the game’s story:

On that day, the country of Aythoris was shrouded by darkness. Without any kind of warning, the “Gates to the Other World” suddenly showed up inside the royal castle. Fearsome monsters  began to appear from within, trampling on the castle guards.

Unfortunately, the royal castle fell. The darkness then slowly, but surely, ate the country.

However, there’s still hope.

Two silhouettes were seen to have escaped the burning royal castle, it was the late King’s children, Sion and Lian. And the thread of fate began to spin for legendary heroes.

Wielding the “Shield of Fire” handed over by their mother, the two heroes’ adventure to stand against the powerful darkness begins.
