Nintendo and Koei Tecmo recently revealed the original twin protagonists for their upcoming Switch and New 3DS action game, Fire Emblem Warriors. Here’s more on the twins, along with Chrom and Marth from the game’s Japanese official website.
First, here’s a bit about the game’s story:
On that day, the country of Aythoris was shrouded by darkness. Without any kind of warning, the “Gates to the Other World” suddenly showed up inside the royal castle. Fearsome monsters began to appear from within, trampling on the castle guards.
Unfortunately, the royal castle fell. The darkness then slowly, but surely, ate the country.
However, there’s still hope.
Two silhouettes were seen to have escaped the burning royal castle, it was the late King’s children, Sion and Lian. And the thread of fate began to spin for legendary heroes.
Wielding the “Shield of Fire” handed over by their mother, the two heroes’ adventure to stand against the powerful darkness begins.
Sion (CV: Yuma Uchida)
The prince of Aythoris. He’s animated and has a a forward-looking personality. He’s the type who acts before thinking. Lian is his twin sister.
Lian (CV: Maaya Uchida)
A princess of Aythoris Kingdom. She understands her position of being royal blood, and in order to hide her weakness of being around people, she does her best to maintain her honor student act. Sion is her twin younger brother.
Chrom (CV: Tomokazu Sugita)
From: Fire Emblem Awakening
A prince from The Halidom of Ylisse. Even though he’s of royal blood, he’s a talented swordsman who puts himself he’s a member of the neighborhood watch to protect the peace of his kingdom. He has a frank personality that isn’t affected by the fact that he’s a prince.
Marth (CV: Hikaru Midorikawa)
From: Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon
A prince who hails from the Kingdom of Altea. Marth never displays his social position, treats people without distinction, and is a caring friend. While he may sound like a soft-natured person, he shows his fortitude during battle.
Fire Emblem Heroes launches in Fall 2017 for Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS.
