Last year, Capcom sold some special add-ons for Street Fighter V to support the Capcom Pro Tour. It’s happening again this year, and even more options are available. The new DLC items and pass are available today and were revealed on the PlayStation Blog. In addition to as-yet-unrevealed Champion’s Choice Costume and Capcom Pro Tour Stage, there will be Capcom Cup Collection Costumes for Ryu and Ken, two titles, a themed color for all 28 characters, and monthly in-game targets.
The Street Fighter V Capcom Pro Tour is available in various groupings and options. For example, someone could just purchase the formal wear outfits for Ken and Ryu, which are $5.99/€5.99 each or Champion’s Choice costume for the same price. It is also possible to buy the Capcom Pro Tour Stage on its own for $9.99/€9.99. This year, there is also a Premier Pass for $24.99/€24.99.
Here’s what you get in the Street Fighter V Capcom Pro Tour 2017 Premier Pass.
-
- Additional Costume (“Capcom Pro Tour”): Ryu
- Additional Costume (“Capcom Pro Tour”): Ken
- Additional Costume (“Capcom Pro Tour”): Champion’s Choice Costume
- Capcom Pro Tour Stage
- Capcom Pro Tour 2017-themed color for all 28 characters (PS4-exclusive)
- 2 Titles: “Capcom Cup 2017” and “Capcom Pro Tour 2017”
- Monthly online, in-game targets that reward Fight Money (beginning in June)
Capcom also broke down information on where the Capcom Pro Tour DLC money goes and how long it will be available. Capcom is again working with Sony on the event. These add-ons will be removed from the various stores in November 2017. 50% of the money from the DLC goes into running the tour and 30% goes to the prize pool, which means 80% of the money people spend on these digital items supports the event. Last year’s DLC, which included costumes for Cammy, Chun-Li, and Necalli and a Ring of Destiny Stage, won’t be rereleased.
Street Fighter V is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
