Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 Demonstrates High-Level Fights Between Baiken And Answer

Arc System Works hosted a special Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 First Home Console Demo Event the other day, where we got to check out more of its new characters Baiken and Answer in action from the pros.

While the pro gamers only had a limited amount of time to get used to the new characters prior to the demo session, it’s always a treat to watch the likes of Kazunoko, Nakamura, and Rion show off their skills.

The teams are split into “Team Baiken” and “Team Answer” with a group of players for each side. The first match up has Kazunoko’s Answer up against Nakamura’s Baiken. The next match features Rion’s Baiken against an Answer who is being played by Summit, a known Chipp-player in the scene. Thanks to similarities between Chipp and Answer, Summit has little trouble adjusting to the new character, however, the Ky-main Rion ended up taking the win.

With both Team Baiken and Team Answer at one win a side, they have their final match at 6:30 with Rion’s Baiken against Kazunoko’s Answer to wrap up the high level match between the two new characters.

Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 releases in Japan on May 25, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game is headed to North America on May 26 and this year in Europe. It will also release for PC this year.
