Shotgun Farmers will have players growing their own guns and ammo, all of which sprout from shots that miss their opponents and hit the ground.

The only way a farmer can arm themselves in Shotgun Farmers is by shooting the ground. Given time, the bullets fired into the earth will grow into all new weapons, from the carrocket launcher to the sniperagus rifle to the pea-stol, and will have more ammo the longer they’ve been allowed to grow. Players will need a moment to harvest these veggie weapons with their shovels, though, so they will need to take care while uprooting a weapon.

Shotgun Farmers offers several different online matches for up to sixteen players, all based around standard multiplayer shooter match types mixed with farming. Players will deliver the hayload by protecting a hay cart,  capture sheep from the enemy and bring them to their base, or plant a deadly watermelon in the other team’s base.

Shotgun Farmers will offer more weapons, as well as skins to customize the player’s farmer, as the game develops. The game is set to release in Summer of this year, and is now raising votes on Steam Greenlight.
