Square Enix released their free-to-play third-person mecha shooter, Figureheads, for PC last year, and the game is now getting a PS4 release in Japan on March 9, 2017 according to this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Hachima.]
The robot tactical shooting game is currently available for PC in Japan, but the game never released on Steam. In addition to bringing the PvP feature that is the main part of the game, the PS4 version brings in a new PvE mode that will have you go up against giant bosses.
Early registration will include a bonus featuring a Xenogears set of items:
- Lightweight: Weltall
- Middlewight: Brigandier
- Heavyweight: Siebzehn
- Figureheads: Fei / Bart
- EXP Boost 30 days
- BIT Boost 30 days
All players will also get a present of 30 Gold. Pre-registration will be available from February 9 through March 8, 2017.
Figureheads is currently available for PC in Japan. It releases for PlayStation 4 on March 9, 2017.
