The Tekken 7 release date has been announced. On June 2, 2017, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC owners in North America and Europe will be able to join the fight. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will have a Jukebox Mode with Tekken series music, which can be enjoyed alone or in playlists set to run while they play, as well as Jin, King, and Xiaoyu legacy costumes from Tekken 2 and Tekken 4.
In addition to the launch date, information on Tekken 7 pre-order bonuses, special editions, and the season pass were announced. The PlayStation 4 and PC pre-order adds Eliza as a playable character, while the Xbox One’s promotion will give people both Eliza and a digital copy of Tekken 6 for the Xbox 360, as it is a backwards compatible game. The Digital Deluxe Edition will include Tekken 7 and its season pass. The Collector’s Edition offers a copy of the game, Steelbook case, the official soundtrack on a CD, and a 12”x18” Kazuya and Heihachi statue. As for the season pass, it will give access to three content packs that will add more characters, stages, costume packs, and an additional game mode. One of those costume packs will be a 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack.
Tekken 7 will appear on Japanese PlayStation 4s and Xbox Ones on June 1, 2017.
