Nintendo has announced a new Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo 3DS. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, is in development. An entirely new remake of the game is coming. This installment will feature animations from Studio Khara, dungeons with enemy encounters, free roaming, and flexible character progression.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will be released on the Nintendo 3DS on May 19, 2017. Celica and Alm amiibo are also on the way, and they will be released in a two-pack.
