Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Has A 2017 Release In Japan For Nintendo Switch

We’re sure your eyes lit up just as bright as ours did when we saw “Monolith Soft” during the Nintendo Switch presentation. Here’s a look at some screenshots from the Japanese official website and some extra info.

It’s also worth noting that Masatsugu Saito is listed as the character designer for the game. He’s known for his work on Cyborg 009: Call of Justice and Expelled from Paradise. Also listed was Monolith Soft co-founder and director, Tetsuya Takahashi. He’ll once again lead as the director, after taking on the role of Executive Director for Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

While a release date or window wasn’t revealed for the West, the Japanese website has Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as a 2017 release for Nintendo Switch in Japan. You can read more of Japan’s lineup of titles in our earlier report.
