Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment announced that their free-to-play PS4 title, Let It Die, by Grasshopper Manufacture, has surpassed 1 million downloads since its launch last month.

Let It Die, by executive director Suda51, has performed well and has also been well-received by its players. It was originally announced as Lily Bergamo before taking on a new form of Let It Die, which you can read about in our interview with Goichi Suda.

GungHo Online and Grasshopper Manufacture are celebrating the one million downloads milestone by giving out one in-game Death Metal as daily log-in bonuses for the players from January 6 through January 8. Players can receive their daily Death Metals by logging in and checking out the Reward Box. In case you’re not in the know, “Death Metal” is kind of like a currency used to revive yourself if you happen to die, otherwise you’d need to create a new character.

Let It Die is available for PlayStation 4. The game released in North America and Europe on December 3, 2016 and is headed for release in Japan on February 2, 2017.
