Square Enix had a bunch of cool stuff to show for Dragon Quest XI at Jump Festa 2017 this weekend, and while we didn’t see anything about it being on Switch, Nintendo confirmed it their official website.

The blog post gives us a little recap of what we saw from Dragon Quest XI with its opening movie as well as its footage on Nintendo 3DS.

The game’s teaser website doesn’t include Nintendo Switch as one of its platforms, and  Square Enix didn’t say anything about the Nintendo Switch version at Jump Festa 2017 other than their mention of how it is being developed on three platforms, nor was it mentioned in any of the recent press release, but Nintendo reconfirmed that the game is in fact in development for Nintendo Switch.

Dragon Quest XI releases in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS. We’ll likely hear more about the Nintendo Switch version in future updates for the game, if not directly from Nintendo.
