With NieR: Automata releasing in a couple more months in Japan, Square Enix announced two more collaborations, this time it’s with Monster Hunter Frontier Z and Phantasy Star Online 2. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

 

The top image shows that the collaboration with Phantasy Star Online 2 will bring equipment from NieR: Automata into the MMORPG title.

Sega’s MMO title Monster Hunter Frontier Z is also getting a piece of the NieR: Automata love with weapons and armor that Hunters will get to use. There may also be an original collaboration quest. More details will be revealed after New Year’s.

Square Enix is also releasing a “Visual Guide” book for Nier: Automata on February 23, 2017.

Kadokawa will also release their own book with a “Creation Materials Collection & Complete Strategy Guide.” This one will release sometime in late-March.

 

NieR: Automata releases in Japan on February 23, North America on March 7, and Europe on March 10, 2017 for PlayStation 4. The PC version will be available sometime in 2017. Check out more on the game’s PS4 Pro support in our previous report.
