Shantae: Half-Genie Hero’s Digital Launch Date Is December 20, 2016

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, Shantae’s next heroic adventure, has been dated. Scuttle Town’s savior will be heading out to systems on December 20, 2016. This digital launch date was announced on the game’s Kickstarter page and covers the worldwide Xbox One and PC versions, as well as the North American and European PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Wii U iterations. However, WayForward does note it is awaiting final confirmation on the Nintendo Wii U edition of the game.

WayForward also offered an update on Shantae: Half-Genie Hero’s backer codes. People who helped crowdfund the game will begin receiving emails with their codes next week. However, for some systems, the codes may be timed stamped and prevented from activating until December 12, 2016. If your backer code isn’t working by December 13, 2016, WayForward says to contact them.

Xseed has yet to announce the official launch date for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Wii U Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Risky Beats physical edition.
