Amazon Japan started an amusing collaboration with Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV, with boxes that look like they’ve been torn with early copies of the game peeking from inside being sent out to customers. [Thanks, Hachima.]

The collaboration from Amazon Japan looks almost like a tongue-in-cheek reference to the earlier copies of the game that got sent out in some parts of the world, by teasing customers into thinking they might’ve gotten lucky. As seen in the image abouve [via @strawberiry] they did a good job at making it look like a torn box with copies of Final Fantasy XV peeking from inside.

The above images [via @akiba1234] give us another look at the “torn” box. It also has a little ad for Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV for those who’ve yet to catch the film in Japan. It says “Everything for the Future King” as the quote on top.

In any case, those who received the Final Fantasy XV packages have been doing second takes, saying that it definitely looks legit at first glance, and people are finding the quirky advertising quite amusing.

Final Fantasy XV releases on November 29, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
