Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma Wins The Lifetime Achievement Award at 2016 Golden Joysticks

During this year’s Golden Joysticks, an award ceremony where the best videogames of the year are voted on by the British public, Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma was awarded The Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on the Zelda series. Last year, the same award was bestowed upon the late Satoru Iwata.

 

Though Aonuma was not present at the awards ceremony, a pre-recorded speech was shared in which he thanked fans of the Legend of Zelda as well as described his experiences while working on the series, among other things.
