The “coin stealing” cat banks have been around for a while now and we’ve seen all kinds of variations for it, but for the first time Pikachu will be available in coin bank form to keep your change safe.
The toy works like any other coin bank, but the Pikachu Bank boasts up to 243 different patterns of Pikachu talk. Now that’s a lot of “pika pika” and “pi-pikachu” going on.
The Pikachu Bank is made by Shine, original makers of the Itazura Stealing Coin Bank, and it is available for 2,980 yen plus tax (MSRP) but you can get it on Amazon Japan at its current price of 2,598 yen before it releases on November 18, 2016, just before the holiday season.
