The Cladun series is returning. Cladun Return: This is Sengoku!, a localization of Cladun Sengoku, will come to North America and Europe in spring 2017. It will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. However, only the console version will be available digitally and physically, as the handheld and PC versions will be PlayStation Store and Steam exclusives.

In Cladun Return: This is Sengoku!, players appear in Arcanus Cella during the Sengoku Era. Souls are gathering after death, and your job is to help the ones with unfinished business get their final tasks done so they can be reincarnated. You take them to areas inspired by real feudal Japan locations and travel through dungeons to set things right. Character customization and the Magic Circle system returns, letting you use a pixel editor to create your custom character and then use the magic circle to assign artifacts to boost your character’s stats. It’s also possible to connect with others, as you can share your character designs, fight together in a cooperative mode, fight through Versus to see who’s the strongest, and try to get a place in the online leaderboards.

A PlayStation 4 limited edition of Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! is up for pre-order in the NIS America store. For $59.99, people get the game, the soundtrack, and a foam, pixelated sword.
