Marvelous has updated the official website for their upcoming action game, Fate/Extella, with details on the game’s “Free Mode,” along with a trailer showing off its first-print bonus, the “Pure Night Dress.”
First, here’s a look at how you’ll get to adjust the game’s difficulty while playing stages. Not only is this a way to test your skill or a Servant’s level, but higher difficulties bring out better rewards for Install Skills and Mystic Code recipes.
“Free Mode” is a game mode that allows you to play as any of the game’s 16 Servants in a stage after clearing it. Using the Mystic Code item equipped by the Master, you can change Servants to enjoy a dream combination of characters in action.
And finally, the above is a look at the first-print bonus costume, “Pure Night Dress,” for Nero Claudius and Artoria Pendragon. [We’ll upload a non-region blocked video soon.]
Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star releases in Japan on November 10, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game will hit North America and Europe in early 2017.
