Saturnine Games’ Edward Di Geronimo Jr. has announced an Antipole DX delay via Miiverse. The updated version of Antipole was supposed to arrive on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U in October 2016, but now has a 2017 release window. The announcement says the game is 95% complete,  but due to some parts taking longer than expected and other obligations, it needs a bit more time. This is the game’s second delay, as it originally had a summer 2015 release window.

In Antipole DX, players must manipulate gravity to solve puzzles and defeat robotic enemies. This new version of the original game adds additional rooms to each level, completely new spritework for characters, enemies, and environments, completely recreated levels, new sound effects, an improved soundtrack, online leaderboards, and Miiverse support with unlockable stamps. The Nintendo 3DS version will have stereoscopic 3D, while the Nintendo Wii U version will offer off-screen play.

The original version of Antipole is immediately available for the Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, and PC.
