Square Enix announced at Gamescom 2016 that NieR: Automata is also releasing for PC alongside the PS4 in 2017, and producer Yosuke Saito says they’re thinking about making a demo for the game as well during a recent interview with Famitsu.
During the interview with Famitsu, the Square Enix producer Yosuke Saito is asked about some future plans with what we can expect to see at Tokyo Game Show this year.
According to Saito, we’ve been seeing a focus on the action parts of NieR: Automata, but we can expect to see a trailer that shows more of its RPG side at TGS 2016.
Famitsu then asks if we’ll get to see any trial version of any kind for NieR: Automata.
“In order to give fans an opportunity to try out the game, I’m thinking something like a demo version would be pretty nice,” said Saito. “And rather than something that lets you try it out for 10 or 20 minutes, I hope to have something with volume that will allow players to sit down and get a proper experience of NieR: Automata for 30 to 40 minutes in the demo.”
NieR: Automata releases in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
