Gravity Rush 2 To Release In North America On December 2, Europe On November 30

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that Gravity Rush 2 is headed to North America on December 2, Europe on November 30, and Japan on December 1. Here are the newest details and trailer.

 

Those who pre-order the game from participating retailers in North America will get an alternate white costume DLC for Kat, along with a Select Soundtrack featuring nine tracks from the game. Pre-orders begin on the PlayStation Store starting August 2, and those who do will get 10 PSN avatars from the game right away.

Additionally, a new anime called Gravity Rush The Animation ~Overture~ was also announced. The anime will bridge the gap between the original Gravity Rush and Gravity Rush 2. It is in production by Studio Khara, known for Rebuild of Evangelion. More details will be revealed before the game launches.

In addition to Kat, Raven, and the ex-cop Syd, Gravity Rush 2 introduces many new characters, including the mysterious guardian angel named Angel who shows up to help Kat when she’s in trouble. Angel is a superheroine with an aggressive and wild fighting style. She’s said to pack an overwhelming punch to her attacks and also has a crystallization ability to regenerate her health instantly. You can see her in action in the new trailer.
