Square Enix’s “E3 2016 Day 0 Edition” Active Time Report for Final Fantasy XV was shorter than expected, but we got a sneak peek at what to expect in the coming days.
The above is a look at the new E3 2016 trailer of Final Fantasy XV, featuring music by Afrojack.
It was mentioned that the trailer we saw earlier today is from the “Titan’s Trial” demo, which will be available at E3, and it features a trial where Noctis must destroy Titan’s arm in order to be able to summon him. This quest is exclusive to the E3 demo, and it will have different objectives for the full release version of the game.
A new trailer for upcoming CGI film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV was shared during the live stream.
Also announced was that Episode 2 of Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV will release tomorrow, June 14 at 1pm PT. It will focus on Prompto, jokingly dubbed “Plumpto,” and will show how he becomes friends with Noctis when they were kids. It will also feature a young Luna and young Ignis, and more.
And finally, they shared a bit on what we can expect to see for Final Fantasy XV at E3 2016 with the following schedule:
Siliconera will keep you covered on all-things-Final Fantasy XV throughout E3 2016. Check back on Wednesday for information on the Japanese-only Active Time Report, which takes place from 10:00am through 11:00am PDT.
Final Fantasy XV will release worldwide on September 30, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
