An unexpected Bandai Namco and Arika game is being localized by Nintendo for Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Kuma Tomo, a Nintendo 3DS game about taking care of and teaching a living teddy bear, will be released in other regions as Teddy Together.
Players can bathe, dress, feed, play with, and teach Teddy in Teddy Together. The more time you spend with the toy, the more he or she will want to know about you. Interacting with Teddy, or tapping an amiibo to the screen, will give coins that can be spent on clothing and accessories to customize the bear. The more time you spend with Teddy, the higher your friendship level, more gifts received, and more well rounded he or she becomes.
Teddy Together will come to the Nintendo 3DS in Europe on July 1, 2016 and Australia and New Zealand on June 2, 2016. Kuma Tomo is immediately available in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. It recently was made a Happy Price title, which cut the price in half.
