Nintendo announced the third Style Savvy game will be coming to North America as Style Savvy: Fashion Forward. The third game in the series is the first to allow people to moonlight in other positions, rather than only run an in-game shop and occasionally model in fashion shows.

With Style Savvy: Fashion Forward, players get to act as a shop owner, model, makeup artist, hair dresser, interior designer, and clothing designer. Working in the shop is the primary task, as you’ll purchase clothes from the outlet, then help customers find what they’re looking for or coordinate outfits. (There are over 19,000 different articles of clothing available.) You’ll also be able to design and furnish four rooms in a house, which customers might rent from you. The makeup artist and hair stylist positions come from visiting the respective shops and choosing to help them with clients, trying to help people get the look they want based on questions you ask them.

The modeling position works similar to previous Style Savvy: Fashion Forward competitions. You’ll be able to participate in showcases, wearing outfits you’ve put together that match the theme. People will then come to your shop after to ask for similar outfits in that same style. You can also go on assignment, taking pictures and choosing which ones will appear on billboards in-game.

Style Savvy: Fashion Forward also works with amiibo. Initially, only Mario, Peach, Yoshi, and Kirby were supported, but eventually Inkling Girl, Isabelle, Lucina, Palutena, Rosalina, Zelda, Samus, Sheik, Wii Fit Trainer, and Rosalina support were added. Scanning one in sends a special customer to your boutique, who will then give you a themed piece of clothing for fulfilling their request.

Style Savvy: Fashion Forward will come to the Nintendo 3DS in North America on August 19, 2016. It is immediately available in Japan and Europe.
