Dragon Quest Heroes II Footage Shows Carver, Torneko, Maribel, Gabo, Meena, And Angelo

Square Enix shared the latest gameplay footage on their upcoming action RPG, Dragon Quest Heroes II, via V-Jump. The video shows us more on the recently introduced characters in Carver, Torneko, Maribel, Gabo, Meena, and Angelo.

The footage starts out with a look at Carver, who specializes in close-ranged combat, which he demonstrates with some powerful abilities. Torneko is a tricky fighter, and uses a variety of items and weapons in battle.

Meena uses her tarot cards in battle. These do more than just damage, as they’re able to entrap monsters with its magical powers. Additionally, she’s able to provide support with different kinds of debuffs and her Midheal to recover health for the party.

Maribel uses a variety of attacks such as “Retaliate” to bring out a giant slap, “Yell Help” to stun enemies, and can even bust out with the powerful “Flame of Purgatory” to blow up surrounding enemies.

Gabo uses combination attacks with his wolf in battle. While he can provide help with his own physical claw attacks, he can also breathe out fire and perform a variety of other moves wit the wolf.

Angelo specializes in long-ranged attacks from his bow and arrow. He’s also able to provide some support wiht his tambourine.
