We recently got to check out the latest on Metroid Prime: Federation Force, and the Japanese Nintendo Direct footage from last week shared additional information on the game’s controls. [Cheers, @British_Otaku.]
The part focusing on the game’s controls starts at the 32:50 mark of the video, where it shows how we the game supports the Gyro Sensor control scheme, which is recommended for players that aren’t the best at aiming their shots in shooters.
They also mention that those using the New Nintendo 3DS can use the C-Stick for camera movements, and it also works the same way with the Circle Pad Pro’s slide pad.
In the next part of the video, it shows how there’s much more involved in the missions aside from taking out foes. For example, you’ll explore ancient ruins, defend important facilities, or occasionally ditch your suit in order to infiltrate the enemy base.
You can challenge these missions on your own for solo play, but the fun is in its multiplayer through wireless or internet connectivity. If a mission is too difficult on solo, Nintendo recommends grouping up with others to take it on.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force is releasing in late-spring 2016 for Nintendo 3DS. You can take a look at the latest trailer from the Nintendo Direct in our earlier report.
