Square Enix shared the latest details on Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness during a recent live stream, where they showecased differences between the PS4 and PS3 versions, and more.
The video shows battle tutorials and more at around the 16:05 mark, a world introduction at 32:40, and you can get a look at some comparisons on the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game starting at the 52:09 mark.
The above chart gives us a look at further comparison details for the two versions. It shows that both are the same as far as game contents go, but won’t support cross-save. The PS4 version will use the Share function and PlayStation Vita Remote Play, but these features won’t be available on PS3.
The frame rates will be at 60fps on PS4 and 30fps on PS3, although they will vary at parts for both. For graphics, the PS4 version will have better processing of characters, backgrounds, and effects, with monsters being shown at greater distances. The PS3 version’s graphics will be more simple, and the monsters’ display distances are shorter.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness will release in Japan on March 31, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game is headed westward in 2016.
