Some of you might recall that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia President Atsushi Morita challenged Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda to a duel in Call of Duty: Black Ops III a few weeks ago. That battle was held recently and aired on Nico Nico. [Thanks, DualShockers.]

You can watch the highlights from the competition in the video below.

The broadcast started with a vote to see who the viewers thought would win. Square Enix won with 58.3% of the vote, while Sony got 41.7%.

The competition then began with the two executives leading their respective teams of players in battle. Morita ended the first two matches with a 4/21 and 5/21 kill/death ratio, while Matsuda performed a bit better with 6/19 in the first match and 13/21 in the second.

After that, four more matches were held, though the executives did not personally participate, instead leaving the fate of the battles in the hands of their employees. Square Enix emerged victorious in three out of the four matches, while one ended up being a draw. All in all, it was more than obvious that Square Enix was the winner of the competition, having bested Sony in nearly every match.
