Nintendo has more to talk about when it comes to the release of amiibo. Between now and March, three more Super Smash Bros. NFC figures, three Animal Crossing characters, a third series of Animal Crossing amiibo cards, and a handful of Pokémon will reappear.
The three new Animal Crossing amiibo are Kapp’n the Kappa, Rover the cat, and the raccoons Timmy and Tommy. They’ll be released on March 18 and are compatible with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival. Digby will also be sold separately for the first time. The third series of Animal Crossing amiibo cards will also be released in March, with 100 new ones to collect. It will be the third of four series.
Super Smash Bros. will also be receiving its next three amiibo in March. Fire Emblem’s Roy, Street Fighter’s Ryu, and a version of R.O.B. that was previously a Japan exclusive, due to his Famicom color scheme, will be available. Their release date was confirmed as March 18 as well, back in December.
Finally, Nintendo confirmed that four Pokémon amiibo will be back on store shelves. Charizard, Greninja, Jigglypuff, and Lucario will be restocked in honor of the series’ 25th anniversary. Previously, Greninja and Lucario were Toys R Us exclusives, and Jigglypuff was only at Target. A rerelease window for these four wasn’t announced.
